Most students need help with a college essay. Andrea will meet your college applicant at whatever stage he or she happens to be. We can work by phone and email, or if you're in Westchester County, New York or Fairfield, Connecticut, we can meet locally.

Sessions: Andrea meets with students for one hour at a time. 

If you come to her with no idea what to write: She will take you through a series of questions that will lead you to possible topics. Then she will help you develop an outline that will guide you to a completed essay. 

If you have some ideas but can't get started: Andrea will help you evaluate the ideas to determine which one has the most potential and will help you create an outline for writing a cohesive essay.

If you have an essay written, but feel it needs polishing: Andrea will read it, offer feedback, and work with you until your essay is application-ready. 

At whatever stage they start, most students work with Andrea meeting weekly, either by phone or in person, until the essay is completed. She will also help students with however many supplemental essays are required for admission to their top choice school.

The cost: Andrea charges by the hour with a two-hour minimum.
